Subject: IAA Meeting, Dinosaur fossils, ISS

Hi all,

1. A final reminder about the IAA meeting tomoorow night, Wed 21st Jan.
   Public Lecture: "Astrophotography On A Budget", by Mark & Nigel Stronge. 
7.30 p.m., Lecture Room 5, Stranmillis College, Stranmillis Road, Belfast. 
Admission free, and all are welcome."

2. This isn't really astronomy, but some of you may be interested anyway:
   The Ulster Museum, Stranmillis Road, Belfast has acquired an amazing 
exhibition on loan from the Natural History Museum in London. It's called 
"Dino-birds: Feathered Fossils from China", and features a 124 million y.o. 'Fuzzy 
Raptor' and another 12 'dinobird' fossils on loan from the geological musem of 
China. These fossils throw light on the important question "Did dinosaurs evolve 
into birds?"
   It runs from 30 January to 3 May, and admission is free. Further details

3. The ISS will begin another series of evening passes across our skies on 
Jan 24. Details at www.heavens-above.com
